How Pick3 Works

Pick 3 numbers between 1 and 30, buy a ticket, and wait for the daily draw at 8PM WAT. If your numbers match, you win a share of the prize pool.

Pay with Paystack or Flutterwave. You'll be redirected to their secure payment page. Pick3 never sees your card details.

Once payment goes through, it appears in your wallet right away. Every top-up is recorded in your transaction history.

Payment security

All payments are handled by Paystack and Flutterwave, not by Pick3. Each payment is verified twice: once when you return to the site, and once through a direct server-to-server confirmation. This prevents double-charges and ensures your money always arrives.

Step 4

The Draw

Every day at 8:00 PM WAT, winning numbers are drawn for all three tiers. The process uses two separate sources of randomness so that no single party can control or predict the result.

Secret code generated

Before tickets lock, our server creates a random secret code and publishes its fingerprint. Think of it as sealing a number in an envelope. Once the fingerprint is out, we can't change the code without it being obvious.

Tickets lock at 7:55 PM

No more entries. The pool is final.

Blockchain randomness fetched

At draw time, the system grabs the latest block hash from a public blockchain. This code was generated by thousands of computers worldwide, moments after tickets closed. Nobody could have predicted it.

Numbers derived

The secret code and the blockchain code are combined through a formula to produce 3 winning numbers. Neither input alone decides the outcome.

Everything revealed

Both codes and the winning numbers are published on-chain permanently. Anyone can verify the result independently.

Why neither side can cheat

Pick3 can't rig it

Our secret code is locked in before the blockchain code exists. We'd have to predict the future to pick a code that gives us the numbers we want.

Blockchain can't be gamed

The block hash comes from thousands of independent computers worldwide. No single person controls what gets produced.

Prizes

Every ticket sold adds to the prize pool for that tier. The house takes 20% to cover running the platform. The remaining 80% goes to winners.

Jackpot rollover

If nobody matches all 3 numbers, the entire Tier 1 pool rolls over to the next day's draw for the same tier. The jackpot keeps growing until someone wins it. Tier 2 prizes are always paid out on the same day.

Getting Paid

Instant, automatic payouts

Winnings are credited to your wallet the moment the draw finishes. There's nothing you need to do. You'll see the payout in your balance and in your transaction history with a record of which ticket won and how much.

How to verify a draw yourself

  1. Take the revealed secret code and hash it. It should match the fingerprint published before the draw.
  2. Look up the block number on a blockchain explorer. The hash should match what was published.
  3. Combine the secret code and block hash, hash them together, and run the number formula. You should get the same winning numbers.
